The precious metal mononuclear complex with its unique traits of 100% atom utilization, simple structure model for mechanism study, functioning as a. bridge between the heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, have been draw much interest in academic or industry field. However, the problem of deactivation induced by metal agglomeration is always in company with the mononuclear complexes, especially when the mononuclear complexes with high loading were operated under harsh reaction conditions. Therefore, atomically re-dispersion of supported noble metal nanoparticle is of much significance for the preparation and regeneration of the mononuclear complexes. Herein, we show a preparation method for the supported mononuclear complexes via the atomically re-dispersion of their nanoparticles on activated carbon (AC) by the treatment of CO/CH3I and applications in a mild oxidation of methane to C1-C2 oxygenates and the results comprised with the results in literatures as follows:
