摘要

The article is devoted to improving the informational perfection of relay protection of electrical distribution networks (overhead lines, transformers). It shows the need to use special protection against longitudinal-transverse asymmetry (LTA) in networks with branch-line and intermediate substations, which will prevent damage of transformers and minimize energy losses. It is performed the estimation of recognizability of LTA regimes when relay protection uses modules and arguments of phase currents, currents of symmetrical components as information signs.
