Three dimensional variable cross-section roll forming need single pass linkage and multi-pass cooperative movement to realize sheet metal forming. These movements need complex control system to be realized. So the control system hardware system design becomes an important part. This paper based on the motor drive SINAMICS S120 and motion controller D445,Construets control system hardware system that can realize multi-axis linkage and multi-pass space-time cooperative movement, which realize the three-dimensional variable cross-section roll forming products manufacturing and provides basic support to produce parts with higher precision, less-weight and more complex components shape.
