It's common practice to use oily lubricants in metal rolling around the world. Their defects include: (1). Energy wasting; (2). Continuous heating and stirring during application consume extra energy; (3). Contaminate operating environment; (4). Vulnerable to oxygen and turn bad; (5). Waste liquid is hard to treat; (6). Unfavorable for bright annealing, resulting in inferior product quality. Anshan Narmay Lubricating Technology Development Co., Ltd challenged the traditional concept of "without oil, no lubrication" and successfully developed Eco-friendly nanoscale water soluble (non-oil) lubricant for metal rolling. Application in several companies shows all its performance indexes are equivalent to or better than those of its counterparts around the world. Surface quality of rolled products is also better than adopting oily lubricants.
