(3) ADORE predicts heat generation well at light to moderate loads. (4) ADORE's Newtonian traction model overpredicts power loss at high loads w.r.t. experimental data. (5) Agreement between experiment and ADORE predictions for load dependent power loss. (6) Quasi-static bearing models do not account for load dependence. (7) At conditions in which most heat generation is thru lubricant churning and drag, both dynamic and quasi-static prediction tools agree.
