Use of numerical simulation as an educational tool to improve safety in research institutions

The establishment of a safe working environment in a research institution is a three-pronged effort: make people aware of the hazards involved with their daily tasks, train people in how to identify such hazards and how to use the available safety measures and finally, put in place and develop new safety measures.
