The Eulerian Probability Density Function approach coupled with a tabulated chemistry model has been developed to realistically predict the auto-ignition and combustion processes in the constant-volume spray combustion system (ECN spray A). Computations are made for four different ambient oxygen level conditions including 0%, 13%, 15% and 21%. Numerical results are in the reasonably good agreement with experimental data in terms of mixture fraction distribution, ignition delay, and flame lift of length. These numerical results clearly indicate that the present FGM-based MEPDF approach has the capability to realistically predict essential features of the diesel combustion processes..
