Innovative approach for successful execution of EPCC projects: Two ammonia plants revamped for Azomures

As the culmination of a strong and profitable relationship established in the 1990s, Casale recently completed an EPCC lump sum turn-key project for Azomures SA (an Ameropa company), which entailed revamping two ammonia plants in Tirgu Mures, Transylvania, Romania. Casale made available to Azomures an innovative combination of execution know-how and technological solutions. This is the key for a significant advance in the challenging business of EPCC LSTK plant revamping projects. The paper presents the most important phases and challenges of the Azomures project.
