This paper describes the Finite Element (FE) modelling of cold-formed Circular Hollow Section (CHS) beams filled with concrete subjected to a static plastic pure bending. A damaged plasticity model along with compression and tension stiffening effects were used for concrete. In addition, Von-Mises elasto-plasticity with hardening was used for steel. Plastic ripples that appeared during the test were successfully obtained in the ABAQUS model. The design parameters including strength, inelastic rotation, and ductility obtained from the numerical model were compared with the experimental values. Good agreement was found between such parameters and thus the numerical model was calibrated based on the available test results.
