摘要

Poor power quality measures affect the utilities; equipment's; performance of system and operating cost. Harmonic refers to the disturbance of the fundamental sine wave at frequencies that are multiples of the fundamental. Waveform harmonics are usually caused by equipment which draws non-linealr current. This project set up is based on the concept of analysis of the harmonic contents in different loads using LabVIEW software which is interfaced with the NI myDAQ card. The NI myDAQ card acquires the signals from load analysis kit and then interfaced with LabVIEW. System parameters such as power (active; reactive; apparent); power factor; THD (%) are also analyzed; thereby providing us a clear idea of harmonic analysis of different loads connected to a single phase power supply.
