In this paper, we propose two types of support systems; one is a cable re-routing operation support system with only a short service interruption and other is a system with no service interruption. To realize these systems, we have worked on temporary optical coupler and dynamic delay adjustment technologies. We developed prototype support systems using these technologies and confirmed that they can minimize or eliminate service interruptions during cable re-routing operations.
