Center Body Influences on the AIP and Secondary Flows

摘要

The measured results at the AIP with and without distortion were compared to the case with a center body structure forming an annulus, to understand the impact of the center body on the flow features. Various measurement planes were analyzed and the development of the flow over the nose cone was discussed and compared to the case without the nose cone. An observation was made that the secondary flow effects at the AIP with no distortion can be superimposed to the distorted case.
