Micro-firms play an important role in a country's economic development. Thus, many governments have begun to provide support to micro-firms for their transformation into e-businesses. While building a website is the first step, many firms are unsure of what the next steps after that. This study, based on a collection and analysis of the literature, uses the Delphi method, incorporating expert surveys to elicit directions for the future development of micro-firms in the e-business transformation process. This research identifies eight key factors for micro-firms' future development and research that provide contributions to both theoretical and practical realms.
