The first large wave flume in China was put into use in TIWTE in 2014. A series of physical model tests on semi-circular jetty were conducted in the flume with scale 1:5.Wave pressure was measured at 29 locations around the jetty in three water depths. The results indicated that different kinds of force on the jetty had different characteristics. Middle water depth 1.85m was most dangerous and 1.5m was secondary for push and upload. 2.2m was most dangerous and 1.85m was secondary for press. Load force was smallest in 1.5m water depth. Generally speaking, wave trough was more dangerous than crest for push and press force. Press and push were dominant forces for semi-circular jetty.
