摘要

This paper aims to study the interaction of oblique waves with a systemof floating elastic and submerged porous plates near a rigid wall. An analyticsolution of the problem is developed based on the linearized theoryof water waves and eigenfunction expansion method in the case of finitewater depth. The nature of the roots of the complex dispersion relationdue to the presence of a submerged porous structure is analyzed usingthe counting argument and contour plot. Numerical results for the reflectionand dissipation coefficients, free surface elevations and force on therigid wall are computed and analyzed to determine the effects of variouswave and structural parameters. The main objective of the present studyis to find the optimum distance between the structures and the rigid wallas a function of the length of the structures and other parameters such asrigidity and compressive force of the elastic plate, depth ratio and porosityof the porous structure. The study reveals that a significant amount ofwave energy is dissipated due to the presence of the submerged porousplates, thus resulting in less wave reflection and force on the rigid wall.
