With the rapid development of the economy and of technology, the shipping industry is becoming more prosperous, so more stringent requirements are being made on the security and stability of shipping. Based on traditional buoys, embedded software and hardware platforms, sensors and network communication, mobile terminals and WEB development technologies are being implemented. A new energy lithium iron phosphate battery is introduced to develop dual-mode intelligent buoy monitoring systems based on GPS and BDS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System). This system is divided into a data collection terminal (intelligent integrated buoy), a communication link and the client (PC and mobile). It uses the intelligent management of fairway buoys and the monitoring of oil spilling and other hydro meteorological information by telemetry and tele-control, dynamic collection as well as analysis of channel environmental parameters. It will play a significant role in navigation safety and marine environmental protection.
