摘要

In high and low frequency transit services, regularity and punctuality are the key factors for service quality measurement, as temporal reliability represents the most significant quality indicator for both passengers and Public Transport Companies [PTCs]. In this work, a Web-based platform integrates an environment for Decision Support System [DSS] specialized for the needs of PTC experts. This environment provides tools to automatically handle the Automatic Vehicle Location [AVL] raw data, linked to the passenger patterns. In this way, one can derive regularity and punctuality measures which unify passengers and PTCs viewpoints at each stop, and time interval of a transit bus route. The results are showed by means of easy-to-read control dashboards represented by tables, charts, and maps.
