Study on interference signal cancellation in-vehicle communication systems

This paper describes a method of interference cancellation and its performance evaluation for in-vehicle communication systems. In Japan, various intelligent services on ITS are supported by in-vehicle communication systems. Generally, in-vehicle communication systems such as Vehicle-to-Infrastructure communication systems (V2I) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication systems (V2V) may be interfered from other communication system. In order to secure robustness against the interference, a method which can mitigate influences of the interference by using characteristic locations of two antennas is proposed. Also, a trial simulation is performed by using following two most representative modulation examples of wireless communication systems in Japan. One is Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) being used for V2V, V2I and another is Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) for LTE.
