Studies were focused on revealing the main principles of the differentiation of organic substances and geochemical flows in the Amur basin landscapes. Mean values of element indicators in background soils were estimated, and the regional background was characterized as compared to the Clarke values. The map of landscape-geochemical zoning of the Amur basin (1:2,500,000) was designed, using ArcGIS 10 (ArcMap). Landscape-geochemical zoning of the Amur basin is described as reflecting certain specifics of landscape functioning.
