Installation of an injection permeable reaction barrier with the use of silanol derivatives of humic substances for the purification of groundwater

The instalation of injectable permeable reaction barrier using silanol derivatives of humic substances is demonstrated.They are polyelectrolyte complexes of humic substances and silsesquioxane oligomers of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES).It is shown that when they are introduced into a column with sand,they form a permeable network,which allows them to be used for the sorption of various toxicants.The possibility of using this technology for the sorption of cuprum ions and also azo dyes from groundwater is demonstrated.
