In this work,a novel triazene-ring flame retardant with phosphorus and nitrogen (P-THEIC) was prepared by reaction between tris(2-hydroxyethyl)isocyanurate and diphenyl chlorophosphate,and was applied in polyurethane foam(PUF).In order to evaluate the P-THEIC's flame retardancy,BDP,APP and Al(OH)3 were also chosed as flame retardants in PUF.The flame retardancy of PUFs was tested by limiting oxygen index and cone calorimeter test,respectively.The results showed that with the increasing of P-THEIC's loading,the limited oxygen index increased firstly and then leveled off,and the other three flame retardants appeared similar tendency.When P-THEIC' s additional amount was 15%,the PUF's LOI reached 26,obviously higher than that of the others.Furthermore,cone calorimeter testing results showed that P-THEIC/PUF had better comprehensive flame retardancy.
