This poster summarizes an experimental research to evaluate the cavitation erosion resistance of different formulations of Polyurea coatings in accordance with ASTM G32-10. Mechanical, thermal and morphological properties of the coatings were studied using TGA, DMA, DSC, FTIR and Tensile test. Coatings were exposed to cavitation in accordance with ASTM G32-10. Eroded surface were gauged using mass loss analysis. The ultimate objective of this project is to evaluate efficiency of Polyurea blend coating for cavitation erosion resistance.
