ArcelorMittal and GDFSUEZ focused their working forces on developing an innovative technology by launching a common project dedicated to Hot Dip Galvanizing lines, especially to preheating sections equipped with direct flame burners. This paper describes the technological innovation performed and validated in semi-industrial conditions as well as the measured performances and expected gains for industrial lines.
