Volumetric burst-mode laser illumination was used for excitation of tracer laser-induced fluorescence, laser-induced incandescence of soot, and laser-induced fluorescence of combustion intermediates at 266 nm, 1064 nm, and 355 nm, respectively. Tomographic reconstruction of generated signals allows for 10-kHz and greater, three-dimensional, spatiotemporal investigation of turbulent non-reacting and reacting flows.
