The simulated channel boxes were electrolyzed in molten salts in order to fix theelectrorefining conditions. The decontamination effects were investigated by using the samples of the actual spent channel boxes, which were obtained, at Hamaoka nuclear power station by Chubu Electric Power Inc.. This paper outlined zircaloy wastes treatment and zirconium recovery process by electrorefining in molten salts
