摘要

To enhance the economics of SCWR, the optimization method for the fuel design was studied. Uranium-235 enrichment and temperature difference between coolant and fuel rod surface were optimized against three parameters, the gap distance of adjacent rods, the number of rods in a side row of fuel assembly, and the number of rods in a row between channel box and water rod, which is square and located at the center of fuel assembly. An optimization method has been established to design fuel assembly of SCWR.
