摘要

POSTECH Lee & Kim condensation model has been implemented in the MARS-KS system code to evaluate its heat transfer characteristics against experimental condensation data with non-condensable gases. Modified MARS-KS code was used to evaluate the performance of the Natural circulation Cooldown and Passive Heat Removal System(PRHRS) of the SMART integral small and medium reactor. POSTECH Lee & Kim condensation model better predicts the experimental data compared to the Colburn and Hougen original MARS-KS condensation model. Using the modified MARS-KS code with the POSTECH condensation model, SMART PRHRS performance was validated for the SMART natural circulation cooldown operation.
