INTRODUCING THE PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE AND V - MODELL IN THE LEASING COMPANIES

In order to increase the competitiveness of the leasing companies, the paper proposes the implementation of system engineering in the procurement process, applied both to their own business and to the technical aspects of the financed assets. The paper is structured on three "pillars ": the product life cycle management, the V Modell methodology and the process orientation. The implementation of the project management methodologies adjusted to the procurement activities (integrated V-Modell) allows the leasing companies to follow the product life cycle for the financed assets, in order to be aware of risks derived from the client's financial requirements such as technological structure of the product, the proper buy-back period and the needs for service.
