A New Solution Supporting the Designing Process of Mining Operations in Underground Coal Mines

摘要

The paper presents a method for modelling and optimization of mining operations in coal mines (CPRG). The method aim is to support designers in evaluating alternatives of the deposit cut and order of operations in the new parts of the seams or at the new levels taking into account the equipment selection aspect. In the event of limited modelling capabilities of the deposit cut, this method can be applied to the optimal selection of equipment for the planned mining operations. On the basis of the presented method the new computing service is prepared as a part of project "Domain-Oriented Services and Resources of Polish Infrastructure for Supporting Computational Science in the European Research Space - PLGrid Plus" - Energetics domain grid.
