The ISS (independent simultaneous sweeping) vibroseis seismic data acquisition method (Howe, D. et al., 2008) allows multiple vibrator fleets sweeping independently and simultaneously in different vibration points. It compresses acquired seismic data size and increases productivity significantly. However, during ISS vibroseis seismic acquisition the seismic waves from simultaneous sweeping vibrator points interfered with each other and it is necessary to deblend, or to separate the blended seismic data. This paper gives a brief introduction for ISS, and methods for deblend seismic waves.
