The quest for subsurface resources (hydrocarbons, minerals or geothermal) requires explorers to clarify as much as possible the geological model of the area under investigation and its potential targets and to test these hypotheses through drilling. An image of the subsurface is critical in order to achieve both tasks, to reduce uncertainty the use of multiple geophysical methods is a well-proven strategy. We show .how the quantitative integration of land seismic and airborne gravity gradiometry (AGG) data, using the 3D simultaneous joint inversion (SJI) algorithm described by De Stefano et al. (2011), within an imaging workflow, can provide not only a good-quality image but also multiple physical properties to reduce the uncertainty and guide the interpretation.
