The LUNAR PALACE 1 integrative experimental facility for Permanent Astrobase Life-support Artificial Closed Ecosystem (P.A.L.A.C.E) research is now under preparation.The facility consists of one comprehensive cabin and four plant cabins.The comprehensive cabin includes a living room, a washing room, a staff room for communication and work, and a room for waste disposal and insects culturing.The construction of LUNAR PALACE 1 is divided into two stages: Stage I includes a comprehensive cabin and two plant cabins, which can provide two people with a life-support environment.In Stage II, another two plant cabins will be built, which can help to protect life safety of four people.
