Development of Re-Usable Super-Innovated Field Assembly Connector(Simple Access-SC) for Quick Installation

Field Assembly Connector (FAC) is used in FTTH(Fiber To The Home), U-City for subscriber installation, maintenance, repair. When the connector splicing work in the field, workers does not need epoxy and cross sectional polishing and expensive devices. FAC helps that anyone can assembly connector in, a short time easily and perfectly. That is, as this paper is about the technology of development of very easy installable and re-usable field assembly connector which the fiber can be connected /disconnected only by on/off of a small latch attached on connector body, which is composed of two parts of a connector body and a boot, it is designed to have the structure and the function to construct the more economic FTTH network. So, we're sure that this paper will give another solution for the more competitive construction of FTTH network to all the network service providers who want to reduce the installation cost in the field and what is more, to reuse it several times like the mechanical splicer according to circumstances.
