This paper describes a method to evaluate the elastic parameters of a linear elastic material based on acceleration measurements as those in the experimental test for measuring the dynamic stiffness of a material that can be viscoelastic. The material of the plate must be much more rigid than the material of the sheet to be characterized. There is no slip between slab and plate nor between sheet and floor and the thickness of the sheet must be much smaller than its width.
