摘要

Digital Elevation Model (DEM) plays an important role in the application of earth and environmental studies. Accurate elevation information provides the necessary information for disaster studies. Elevation data from SRTM version 4, ASTER-GDEM version 2, and GS1-DEM from Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) were collected and analyzed through GIS and Analytical Hierarchy Process for tsunami vulnerability mapping in Kesennuma, Rikuzentakata, and Ofunato cities in Japan. This study tried to compare the difference between these DEM data for the vulnerability mapping and to assess the inundation area due to tsunami. In the scope of tsunami vulnerability mapping, each DEM data described minor differences although SRTM version 4 showed results similar to the tsunami historical data in the study area.
