What types of permits are required for your facility? (air, water, solid waste, special use). Is air modeling going to be required? Is biomass going to trigger PSD regulations? Nox PSD production reporting? Any product that you want to use must be air permitted prior to burning it (example). Have a pre-permit application meeting with your permit writer. Know your biomass options prior to permitting. TIME is an important factor to consider when permitting test products. Have realistic time tables set with room for adjustment. Amend your current permit vs renewing your permit.
