Results of Long-Term Observations of Submicron Aerosol near Moscow.

Using 17-year measurements of aerosol number concentration and particle size distributions between 0.01 and 1 μm, seasonal aerosol variations in Moscow environs have been analyzed. The seasonal variation in concentrations of 0.02-1μm aerosol particles has two maximums - in February-March and September-October, and one minimum during summer months. The relation between the variations of different particle size fractions and meteorological factors is discussed.
