TWO ROLLER MILL DESIGN: A NEW PARADIGM

摘要

The sugar industry has been looking for the energy efficient equipment with less maintenance cost and better milling extraction. Innovations had been taking place to enhance and substitute the three roller mill with two roller mill design. This paper outlines the salient features of the three roller mill and two roller mill and highlighted the performance and operational experience of different sugar factories. The result indicates the low final bagasse moisture and less power consumption was achieved at these sugar factories after installing the two roller mill.
