Natural vacuum electronics is the utilization of the natural vacuum of space for the operation ofrobust electronic components and circuits. In natural vacuum electronics specially constructed vacuum“tubes”, without the tubular enclosure, are operated to provide the basic services of rectification,oscillation, and amplification using the thermionic emission of electrons from a heated cathode.At the lunar surface, there is a very high quality vacuum that can be used as the basis for theoperation of a natural vacuum multi-grid vacuum valve. Since the valve is an open structure, theinternal components of the valve can be modified at will for experimental and operational reasons.A main goal of the natural vacuum electronics project is starting work using the vacuum ofspace as a valuable resource for electronic circuits.
