Customer never allowed for a drop of properties after SPF processing. Material in first lot was near typical mechanical mean, however the next lot was just above or at the minimum for acceptable mechanicals going into SPF. Thus, even with the SPF process used which typically produced very little drop. Not having any allowable tolerance in processing proved to be very costly.
