A distributed-memory scheme for efficiently parallelizing the explicit marching-on-in-time (MOT) based solution of the time domain volume integral equation (TD-VIE) is presented. The proposed scheme equally distributes the source fields and their time history among the processors for memory efficiency. The tested field computations are parallelized using a simple one-way pipeline communication strategy, so called "rotating tiles" paradigm, which eliminates the need for global communications. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed scheme scales well on the IBM Blue Gene/P platform.
