Understanding the seismoelectric interface response is important for the development of seismoelectric exploration methods. Comparisons between the theory and measurements are scarce. We present a full-waveform seismoelectric model based on the complete set of electrokinetic equations. The numerical predictions are compared with seismoelectric interface response measurements using an artifical porous sample and a natural rock. Good agreement is found in terms of travel time and polarity of the waveforms. The agreement is shown to hold for sample thicknesses smaller than the dominant wavelength.
