摘要

Transport and Magneto-transport properties of bulk and nanocrystalline Y_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)MnO_3 compound have been studied in details. Electronic properties have been described in the light of Polaron hopping model. Interestingly we have observed that reduction of particle size has decreased the polaronic activation energy. The observed field dependence (H~2) of Magnetoresistance (MR) of the samples above 150 K has been attributed to the suppression of spin fluctuations.
