Lead monoxide filled isophthalate resin particulate polymer composites were prepared with different filler concentrations and investigated for physical, thermal, mechanical and gamma radiation shielding characteristics. This paper discusses about the dielectric properties of the composites. The present study showed that the dielectric constant (epsilon'), dielectric loss (epsilon") and ac conductivity ((sigma)_(ac)) of isopthalate based unsaturated polyester resin increases with the increase in wt(percent) PbO filler in polymer matrix.
