Training eldercare workers in dementia care - findings from the pilot run of the demact programme

The Dementia Activities and Care Toolkit (DemACT) programme was introduced in February 2011 to train eldercare workers in facilitating activities with persons with dementia (PWD) using an Activity Toolkit. This study aims to evaluate the benefits of the training and support provided to a group of eldercare workers recruited to provide a home activity programme for PWD.
