DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATIONS OF IONTECH ION EXCHANGE (IONTIX~R) PROCESS

The copper recovery process from copper containing solutions is described, lontech Ion Exchange (IONTIX?) process is very effective for treatment of copper pregnant leach solutions (PLS), acid mine drainage (AMD) and other process streams with metal concentrations varying on a broad range. Regeneration is very efficient and the target metal is usually recovered in relatively small volumes of regenerate solution. The rinse waters from regeneration are recycled through the system and used for preparing of regeneration solutions for the next cycle.
