摘要

Recently, mining the disease information from the proteomic profile in the low molecular weight range are becoming an alternative way in cancer research. We create nanoporous silicon micro-flake (NPSMF) that allow us to capture, protect, and directly detect the low molecular weight peptides (LMWP) sieved from large pool of high abundant plasma proteins. In combination with mass spectrometry and statistic analysis, we demonstrated the peptides profiles between colorectal cancer and control serum sample can be well discriminated.
