EFFECTS OF BIOREACTOR LANDFILL OPERATIONS ON LANDFILL LEACHATE AND BIOGAS

Bioreactor landfills have attracted more and more attention in recent years due to their advantages over conventional landfills, such as fast waste stabilization, air space recovery, and gas generation enhancement etc. There are many different types of bioreactor landfills associated with different operation strategies, including anerobic, aerobic, and hybrid bioreactors. Studies was conducted to investigate the effects of different operation strategies on landfill leachate quality and biogas generation.
