THE STUDY OF PFASSB ON PRE-TREATMENT IN LANDFILL LEACHATE

Leachate originating from landfills is one of the major environmental problems. If it isn't discharged in an effective way, it may cause serious pollutions to groundwater and surface waters. Leahate may contain large amounts of organic and inorganic matter, with humus, as well as ammonia nitrogen, heavy metals, chlorinated organics and inorganic salts. The potential dangers of leachate have been confirmed and it is generally necessary to treat it so that it can meet the standards for discharge into natural waters.
