This development is the tap-hole clay for continuous tapping operation in blast furnace in order to increase hot metal production and stabilize operation control. Generally, the blast furnace produces hot metal in a tap-hole, but there is a limit to production rises of hot metal, recently, and it makes operation control difficult as deterioration in fuel and raw material quality. So the continuous tapping operation in blast furnace has been developed so as to fix these problems. The continuous tapping operation can produce hot metal in two tap-holes in normal times, the taphole clay to enable long-time tapping is required for stabilizing operation. This development must be excellent in terms of erosion resistance and abrasion resistance for hot metal and slag with increasing in yield of non-oxide. The development also increases tapping time and contribute to development for continuous tapping operation. The continuous tapping operation increases daily hot metal production, stabilizes operational control and contributes to reduction in taphole clay usage.
